Dunedin Sports Horses has eventing horses for sale, sourced across Europe and produced for US riders. Every horse is chosen and produced as an event horse, assessed from the saddle by 5-star event rider Hayley Frielick over the gallop, the bravery and the cross-country that eventing actually asks, and vetted in person before it ships. In over ten years we have placed more than 100 horses, honestly and exactly as described. The horses shown below are a current selection, not the full record.

Dunedin Black Watch (Nelson)

Bought as part of a two-for-one deal in rural Australia, an off-the-track Thoroughbred, not a big horse, with a heart and work ethic that more than made up for it. Produced by Hayley from his first ride to a Maryland 5★. Nelson is the horse that started it all: the OTTB Hayley brought across the world in 2022 to complete CCI5★ at Maryland on arrival, and to establish Dunedin's US base. He led the way for the others to follow. Today he competes at the lower levels with a young rider, teaching her the ropes, and loved every step of the way. It's great to see him out doing what he loves.

Bay Irish Sport Horse gelding, 16.2hh. Three balanced paces, brave and honest, jumps for fun. Show jumped to 110cm with an amateur rider, won the YEH 5 year old class at Flora Lea in July, and completed his first recognized Training with Hayley the same month, jumping clear across country. Snaffle-mouthed, light, and consistent. Equally suited to YEH classes, eventing, or pure show jumping. A genuine pleasure.
